Born from the windswept isles of Scotland, Blackhouse Rum takes its name and inspiration from the traditional Blackhouses that once sheltered generations across the Western Isles.

These sturdy stone dwellings, with their thick walls and thatched roofs weighted against Atlantic storms, were built by hand and heart — crafted from the land itself. Inside, the warmth of the peat fire met the salt air of the sea, and stories were shared by flickering light. The Blackhouse was more than a home; it was a symbol of resilience, community, and connection to the wild beauty of the Highlands.
