In the wild beauty of Moidart, on Scotland’s remote west coast, our distillery runs completely off-grid. Surrounded by lochs, ancient woodlands, and mountains, we draw both energy and inspiration from the land around us. Powered by renewable resources, we make our spirits in balance with nature and in keeping with a long Scottish tradition of working with the environment, not against it. 

Where our story begins is with a seriously good rum we call Blackhouse named in tribute to the traditional stone dwellings that once stood across this region. It’s a nod to the heritage of Moidart and carries in it’s identity a deep connection to the land.

No imported bases, no blending someone else’s spirit

Just raw organic cane pressing, rich molasses, and time…..
